- Command k (or select GO, then Connect to Server from the menu)
- In the address box, type ftp://ftp.sterlingprinting.net
- Hit "connect"
- Username: upload@sterlingprinting.net
- Password: upload
A new window will open. Just drag and drop files like you normally would in your own finder.
If you wish to save this option for next time, there is a toggle to save your name and password for this server in the box. Then, when you select command k, and select ftp://ftp.sterlingprinting.net, a window for the server will open immediately.
Most importantly: once you have successfully finished uploading your files, be sure to shoot us an email to let us know it's ready!
FTP using Windows XP/Windows 2000
- Double click on "My Network Places"
- Click on "Add A Network Place"
- Click "Next"
- Select "Choose Another Network Location"
- In the box, type: ftp://ftp.sterlingprinting.net
- Click "Next"
- Uncheck the "Log on Anonymously" box
- Type in your username: upload@sterlingprinting.net
- Click "Next"
- In the box, type: Sterling Printing FTP
- Click "Next"
- Uncheck "Open this Network Place"
- Click "Finish"
Now when you click on this icon in your Network Places window the
FIRST time, you will be asked to verify your username and password.
Username: upload@sterlingprinting.net
Password: upload
Select to save your password so that the computer can log you in next time more easily. From now on, when you select ftp.sterlingprinting.net from your network places menu, you will be directly connected to Sterling Printing. To add files, just drop them in the open window. To get files, just drag them from the open window to your desktop.
